Our Mission

Welcome to Montana Wood Company.  We are a boutique furniture design & fabrication shop specializing in custom tailored, industrial designed, hand built one of a kind items.  Our modern industrial design themes utilize construction  grade steel paired with various hardwoods.  Our mission is to create you something special, something unique, something not owned by anyone else.

All of our work is custom unless noted.  We specialize in conference tables, reception desks &  reclaimed wood shelving systems as well as kitchen & dining tables.

Utilizing locally sourced, hand selected materials, every piece comes with its own distinct characteristics.  We personally deliver, set up & install anywhere in the Tri-State area.

Weather it be reclaimed wood table, an exotic live edge or an industrial steel table, we are certain we can help you achieve the vision you have for your office, home or kitchen.

My passion for building & design has been with me from a young age.  While most high school students worked summers as life guards, I spent mine working with my grandfather at his construction company.

Fast forward to 2012, I was working for my fathers office & vintage furniture business.  We were having replacement desktops made for some vintage desks when a customer came into our Chelsea store looking for some simple wood work tables.  Unfortunately, we didn't have any in stock, it was at that moment that I realized, "If we are having replacement desktops made, why can't we just order a few extra and use them as table tops."

From there the idea grew into a business and I got my first commercial order.  A 7'x14' conference table. (pictured below)  I was in over my head but I wasn't going to let that stop me.  I began building a work shop and buying all sorts of tools and machines to streamline my building process.

Now we are a fully operational workshop complete with sliding table & mitre  saws, a 4'x8' CNC router, independent woodworking and steel working stations &  HPLV spray and sanding booth.
